Daycare

Our daycare service operates from 7:30 a.m. - 5:45 p.m. Monday to Friday, except for statutory holidays. We can accommodate 15 dogs a day.

The play area covers 3,000 square feet and includes indoor and outdoor areas. The yard, surrounded by a 6-foot high fence, is equipped with lots of agility obstacles which the daycare dogs love almost as much as the kiddie pool and the many short-lived tennis balls and tug toys. 

Attendants motivate the dogs to play throughout the day, which is great for those high energy dogs that get too little satisfaction from walks and have minimal, if any, access to open spaces. It's getting harder to find these spaces in the cities every year! Daycare provides an opportunity for dogs to socialize in an environment where their play is monitored for safety. Dogs are free to take rest periods when they want but, as we have discovered, most cannot resist for long the chance to chase a ball (snowballs in winter) or play a game of tug-of-war.

Although we try to accommodate casual clients, most of our dogs come two or three times a week for most of the year, leaving little space. If you want to reserve a spot for a day, please book ahead to make sure we have room. The cost is $15 a day plus HST.

For our regular clients, we offer two plans.

Grand Prix - Purchase your space for 20 days over a two-month period and receive two free nail trimmings.    Price: $260 + HST

Basic - Purchase your space for 10 days over a two-month period and receive one free nail trimming.     Price: $140 + HST

While your dog is at the daycare, we can trim his/her nails (unless your dog strongly objects, which is rare) for a fee of $5. Our trainer can also work with your dog for a 15-minute session to enhance his/her manner or skills. The fee for this obedience training session is $10. HST applies to all fees.
